Rocky Top Fall League Week #3 Capsules

Week #3 of the Rocky Top Fall League saw the boys come to CAK for the midway point of the league. Heres how the action went down.

 

 

 

 

 

Team O'Hara 79

Team Sewell 71

 

Sean Oglesby (Knoxville Central) dropped 22 markers as Team O'Hara moved to 2-1 on the season with a hard fought 79-71 win over Team Sewell.

 

Trey West (Fulton) chipped in with 14 and Ty Hurst (Carter) had his best game of the young season with a 13 spot in he victory.

 

Dante Harris (Lakeway Christian) led all scorers with 31 points while Marae Foreman (Dobyns-Bennett) chipped in with 21 in the close loss.

 

Week #4 sees us going to Knoxville Catholic where Team O'Hara (2-1) takes on Team Upchurch (0-3) and Team Sewell (1-2) looks to rebound against Team Feltner (2-1).

 

 

 

Team Haskell 74

Team Morton 59

 

Trent Stephney (Bearden) scored 25 points as Team Haskell moved to 3-0 with a 74-59 victory over Team Morton.

 

KaJuan Bullard (Austin East) added 15, Kordell Kah (Bearden) closed with 12 and Micah Wilkinson (Pigeon Forge) finished with 10.

 

Charlie Wyrick (Knoxville Webb) was outstanding scoring 17 points while Barron Nease (Union County) finished with 10.

 

Team Haskell (3-0) puts their unblemished record on the line this Saturday at Knoxville Catholic when they battle fellow unbeaten Team Arnold (3-0) for Worldwide Division supremacy.

 

 

 

Team Cate 66

Team Upchurch 53

 

Luke Burnett (Knoxville Webb) led a balanced Team Cate scoring attack with 11 leading them to a 66-52 win over Team Upchurch.

 

Joe Anderson (Maryville) led all scorers with 22. Christian Gale (Maryville) added 14.

 

Team Cate (2-1) will take on Team Watts (2-1) for Prestige Division movement while Team Upchurch (0-3) looks to right the ship against Team O'Hara (2-1).  

 

 

 

Team Patterson 88

Team Julian 75

 

Shawn Park (Gibbs) led a group of five in double digits with 23 as Team Patterson moves to 2-1 on the season with an 88-75 win over Team Julian.

 

Emilio Cornelio (Maryville) chipped in with 13 and Presley Patterson (Knoxville Catholic), Joseph Burroughs (Maryville) and Charlie Rice (Maryville) all added 12 in the win.

 

Akeem Odusipe (Knoxville Catholic) led all scorers with 26. Evan Winchester (Clinton) dropped 13 while Wes Maples (Sevier County) closed with 11.

 

Team Patterson (2-1) takes on Team Morton (0-3) this Saturday at Knoxville Catholic while Team Julian (1-2) does battle against Team Steinmetz (0-3).

 

 

 

Team Watts 61

Team Feltner 52

 

Kendrick Holland (South Doyle) was masterful scoring 21 points and leading Team Watts to a 61-52 triumph over previously unbeaten Team Feltner.

 

Will Brown (Farragut) added 13 and Jayden Doyle (South Doyle) finished with 10 in the victory.

 

Grant Ledford (Grace Christian) led all scorers with 26 markers in the loss.

 

Team Watts (2-1) puts their two game winning streak on the line against Team Cate (2-1) while Team Feltner (2-1) looks to rebound against Team Sewell (1-2).  

 

 

 

Team Arnold 79

Team Steinmetz 71

 

C.J. Gettlefinger (Grace Christian) kept his hold on the league scoring title dropping 31 points as Team Arnold bested a determined Team Steinmetz 79-71.

 

Tyler Nordin (Bearden) continues his fine plays scoring 16 and B.J. Marable (Grace Christian) closed with 12 in the win.

 

The win offset a big scoring night from Marcus Smith (Oak Ridge) who also scored 31. Javonte Thomas (Oak Ridge) added 19 while Brett Newcome (Stone Memorial) closed with 13.

 

Team Arnold (3-0) goes head to head for the Worldwide Division lead against fellow unbeaten Team Haskell (3-0) this Saturday at Knoxville Catholic.

 

Team Steinmetz (0-3) looks to crack the win column against Team Julian (1-2).
