Nashville Fall League Week #2 Capsules

The second week of the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League saw some crazy scoring antics, some really good games and plenty of kids getting themselves in shape for the season to come.

 

 

 

 

 

Ohio State 88

Michigan 84

 

Tre Carlton (Centennial) and Dusty Williams (Centennial) scored 28 and 24 points respectively as Ohio State got their first win of the season with an 88-84 victory over a determined Michigan squad.

 

D.J. Estes (Fairview) added 17 in the win.

 

T.J. Daly (Stewart's Creek) made his Fall League debut scoring 24 points in the tough defeat. M.J. Grant (Oakland) added 16 while Kai Crawford (Riverdale) closed with 10.

 

 

 

Florida 91

Auburn 86

 

Jordan Burchfield (Blackman) took scoring honors for the day dropping 35 points as Florida held off Auburn 91-86 moving their league record to 2-0 on the young season.

 

Kailon Benton (Blackman) added 15, Jaylen Wetzel (Siegel) dropped 13 and Tyler Erdman (Siegel) went with 12.

 

Montez Boddie (West Creek) led Auburn with 21 markers. Ben Cyphers (Page) added 17, Chris Hillsman (Ezelll-Harding) pitched in with 15 and Jalen Negron (West Creek) closed with 13.

 

 

 

Vanderbilt 99

Kentucky 76

 

Grant Slatten (White County) led a balnced scoring attack of five in double digits with 19 as Vanderbilt moved to 2-0 with a 99-76 win over Kentucky.

 

Alex Garrett (Cookeville) added 18, Jackson Tatum (Perry County) dropped 17, Will Pruitt (Mt. Juliet) had 16 and Masyn Winningham (White County) finished with 13.

 

J.J. Platt (Webb School) led all scorers in his Fall League debut dropping a game high 25. William Christie-Mizell (USN) added 14, Carrington Allen (Oakland) finished with 12 and Isaiah Jones (Hillsboro) ended with 11.

 

 

 

Michigan State 90

Indiana 75

 

Malcolm Hamilton (Ensworth) and Dalton Marsh (Red Boiling Springs) scored 23 and 20 points respectively as Michigan State moved to 2-0 on the season with a 90-75 win over Indiana.

 

Jaylen Stayton (Blackman) chipped in with 19 while Jacqori Johnson (Blackman) ended with 13.

 

Zion Swader (Siegel) led all scorers with 25 points in the loss. Matthew Schneider (Siegel) added 15, Alex Mitchell (Community) scored 14 and Mark Tillis (Hillwood) closed with 10.

 

 

 

Maryland 97

Tennessee 79

 

Jalen Page (Blackman) scored 25 and Haneef Sharif (Blackman) added 21 as Maryland moved to 2-0 with a 97-79 win over Tennessee.

 

Konata Werts (Summit) added 19, Zoryn Harrington (Blackman) finished with 17 and Derron Perry (Riverdale) closed with 13.

 

K.J. Johnson (Marshall County) scored 22 while Isaiah Poore (Centennial) added 19.
