Dallas
was the sight for Session #3 of the EYBL this past weekend.

Team Penny or Bluff City which ever you prefer finished the
weekend 2-2 and moved to 7-6 overall with a good shot at making the Peach Jam
if they play even in the final session in Minnesota.

Team Penny started the Session well with a nice 80-56
victory over perennial power Boo Williams. Keelon
Lawson (Hamilton)
led a balanced scoring attack with a dozen. Dedric Lawson (Hamilton)
finished with 10 while Skal
Labiessiere (ECS)
added his usual double/double with 10 points and 10
boards.

Anton Beard (Arkansas) led four
double digits scorers with 15 as Team Penny won their second contest in  nail biter over the Georgia Stars 66-64.
Joining Beard in the scoring column were Davell
Roby (White Station)
with 13 and the brothers Lawson tallied 11 apiece in
the win.

Nych Smith (White
Station)
made his long awaited return and led the scoring charge with 13
but it would prove to not be enough as Team Penny fell to CP3 by the count of
76-62. Beard finished with 12 while Labiessiere and Roby ended with 11 each.

Roby would lead the scoring charge in the final contest with
11 but it would be too little as Team Penny fell to the Texas Titans 62-50.
Beard was the only other player in double digits with 10.

Rob Marberry (FRA) has
himself another solid week playing for Travelers Basketball. The lone Volunteer
state representative had several great efforts including 6 points and 8 boards
in a loss to E1T1. Marberry managed 10 markers against Southern Stampede and
saved his best outing for last with 14 large in a win over ICP Elite.

Andrew Fleming
(Ensworth)
was solid for the St. Louis Eagles leading them in scoring with
14 in a close loss to the Jackson Tigers. He managed 8 in a big win over
Athletes First and added another 8 spot in a win over California Supreme.
