Nashville Fall League Week #4 Game Capsules and Scoring Leaders

Week #4 saw some big time scoring outbursts and positioning for the final week on October 12th. Lets see how it all went down.  

 

 

 

 

TENNESSEE PREP HOOPS NASHVILLE FALL LEAGUE WEEK #4 GAME CAPSULES

 

Auburn 93

Tennessee 85

 

Isaiah Shaw (Davidson Academy) tallied 26 markers as Auburn took care of Tennessee 93-85 in Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League action 93-85.

 

Caleb Shaw (Davidson Academy) added 21 while Maddux Bodenhamer (Rockvale) had 19 and Preston Whittington (Riverdale) finished with 16 in the win.

 

Robbie Rusciano (McEwen) led all scorers with a 28 spot. Joined in the scorebook by Connor Beavon (Franklin) with 19, Darrow Parrish (Hillsboro) with 15 and Noah Magee (Franklin) with 14.

 

Auburn (2-2) will take on Ohio State (2-2) on Championship Saturday, October 12th at 11:00 while Tennessee (1-3) welcomes Indiana (1-3) at 10:00.

 

 

 

Michigan 120

Indiana 104

 

Jaylen Wetzel (Siegel) dropped 28 as Michigan moved to 3-1 on the season with a high scoring 120-104 win over Indiana.

 

Wetzel was aided in the scoring column by Martise Jackson (Siegel) with 24, Marcus Fitzgerald (Pearl Cohn) had 23, Alex Garrett (Webb School) finished with 17 and Kegan Dodson (White County) closed with 11.

 

Nasir Scaife (Franklin County) had a monster game in defeat finishing with a game high 33 markers.

 

Isaiah Poore (Centennial) added 23 while Raekwonn Nesbitt (Creek Wood) finished with 13.

 

Michigan (3-1) will take on Florida (2-2) at 12:00 on October 12th while Indiana (1-3) goes to battle against Tennessee (1-3) at 10:00.

 

 

 

Florida 109

Vanderbilt 98

 

Jaylen Pegues (Hillsboro) goes off for a league high 48 markers as Florida captures a hard fought 109-98 win over Vanderbilt.

 

Chaz Lanier (Ensworth) had another fine outing scoring 23 points in the win.

 

P.J. Smith (Goodpasture) filling in for some player shortages scoring 30 to lead Vanderbilt. Adam Miller (USN) and Graydon Franck (USN) scored 22 each in the narrow defeat.

 

Florida (2-2) will play in the 2nd place game against Michigan (3-1) while Vanderbilt (1-3) battles Purdue (1-3) in the opener at 9:00 next Saturday, October 12th at CPA.

 

 

 

Iowa 104

Ohio State 99

 

Jacob Beasley (Blackman) picked the best time to have his best game netting 40 points as Iowa finishes the regular season as the only unbeaten at 4-0 with a 104-99 triumph over Ohio State.

 

Braeden Moore (CPA) added 28, Evan Shiflet (CPA) closed with 16 and Dominic Wynn (Ensworth) added 14 in the win.

 

Matthew Schneider (Siegel) had himself a fine outing scoring 40 of his own in the tough loss.

 

Rodney Love (Glencliff) added 28 while Tyler McClain (Lipscomb Academy) finished with 12.

 

Iowa (4-0) will take on Kentucky (3-1) in the league championship game at 1:00 next Saturday, October 12th at CPA.

 

Ohio State (2-2) will take on Auburn (2-2) at 11:00.

 

 

 

Purdue 85

Kentucky 81

 

Grant Slatten (White County) dropped 33 as Purdue knocked Kentucky from the ranks of the unbeaten with an 85-81 win at the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League.

 

Malachi Parham (Hume Fogg) added 25 while Alex Mitchell (Community) finished with 10.

 

Morgan Anderson (NCS) scored 21 to lead Kentucky. He was followed closely by Cannon Anderson (NCS) with 17, Jaime Hernandez (Page) with 12 and Gage Swanson (Central Magnet) with 10.

 

Purdue (1-3) leads off the championship day festivities at 9:00 against surging Vanderbilt. Kentucky (3-1) takes on unblemished Iowa (4-0) for the league championship at 1:00.

 

Emails will be sent out next Thursday for the Saturday games. We will be giving out our shooting shirts on Saturday so there is no reason not to come.
