It seems like every game is a candidate for game of the week in the Memphis area but this weeks selection has a special glow all its own.
The states top two ranked squads in AAA do battle for the second time this season.
Melrose (18-7), fresh off a huge district win over White Station, is primed and ready for the Warriors of Memphis Central. Adonis Thomas (Melrose) has his game at high gear and the additional scoring of SEMO signee Telvin Wilkerson (Melrose) and Auburn signee Cedric McAfee (Melrose) give the Golden Wildcats a great chance for victory.
Jo Northington (Melrose) could be a huge key if he starts knocking down big threes.
Jarnell Stokes (Memphis Central) is a beast and you know what he is going to give you every single night. Andre Applewhite (Memphis Central) has emerged as a top five player in this class in Tennessee and his skills and confidence are onnly getting better.
Memphis Central (20-5) took the first contest and will have their hands full of Golden Wildcats this time around.
