It is fitting that the best player in the state assume the mantle of Player of the Week sometime, isn't it?

 

 

 

 

Leron Black (White Station) has that distinction and is the recipient of the West Tennessee Player of the Week for Week #6.

Black, an Illinois signee, kept his Spartans at the top of the state rankings scoring 12 in a drubbing of Whitehaven, followed by 18 in another big win over Memphis East.

He saved his best for last with a season high 32 in a statement win over Ridgeway.
