In the end the length and size of the BABC players proved to be the deciding factor as the Memphis YOMCA fell in the title game of the 2011 Nike EYBL Peach Jam 84-67.

Two players who etched their names in many a coach's notebooks, Anthlon Bell (Bartlett) and Martavious Newby (BTW) led the YOMCA with 16 points each. Jarnell Stokes (Virginia) added 15 in the loss, while Shaq Goodwin (Georgia) finished with 10.

The YOMCA advanced to the title game after smashing the Georgia Stars 78-64 in the semi-final round earlier that day. A close game was destroyed by a slick 9-0 run just before the half that seemed to demoralize the Stars.

Goodwin was a man possessed finishing with 29 points and looking like a younger version of his namesake.

Bell added 15, Stokes finished with 12 and Newby 10 as the Memphis crew readied for their evening date with the BABC.

Alex Poythress (Clarksville) finished with 7 points in the loss.
