Prather Explodes on Friday Night


With playoff action at the 2009 NBPA Top 100 Players Camp taking place this morning, Casey Prather (Jackson Northside) declared it was time to make a statement.

The rising senior scored 17 points on Friday night to lead his team then notched 9 markers in playoff action keeping his Rockets squad as the only unbeaten team in the camp.

Prather who edged ahead of Joe Jackson (White Station) for scoring leaders among our Tennessee hoopers stands at 10.8 with action picking back up at 3:00 today.

Jackson stands at 10.6 after games of 9 and 2 but has his Hornets still alive with a semi-final contest at 3:00.

Mardracus Wade (Mitchell) stands at 8.8 per contest scoring 3 and 9 in the last two games.

Tarik Black (Ridgeway) continues to do his work on the glass, but he used his skills to score 12 in the Friday night finale then added 7 to move his camp avwerage to 7.2.

Stay tuned as the camp concludes tonight with semi-final action at 3:00 then the championships will take place at 6:30.
