The time has come!!!   This senior class hasbeen waiting for this moment since they fell to Dobyns Bennett in the sub-state last season. Everything came together on a cool January evening when the Bulldogs gave national power Oak Hill Academy everything they wanted. From this point on the Dogs have scorched their competition. Let's see what they have inside from this point on..............I think they are ready. 




Clarksville Northeast

Hometown: Clarksville

Nickname: Eagles

Record: 26-6

District: 10AAA

Region: 5AAA

Coach: Al Cooper

Top Players: Jamarious Alderson, Dermetrye Brown, Telvin James

Region Final: 54-50 loss to Beech

Sub-State: 52-42 winner over Hunters Lane


Jamarious Alderson leads the Eagles into the state tournament on a high after beating Hunters Lane to land a spot. The Eagles have plenty of scoring from their guards and if someone does'nt take the responsibility of guarding Alderson they could be in for a long evening. 




White Station

Hometown: Memphis

Nickname: Spartans

Record: 28-7

District: 15AAA

Region: 8AAA

Coach: Jesus Pitino

Top Players: Joe Jackson, Ferrakohn Hall, Andre Hollins

Region Final: 86-80 winner over Melrose

Sub-State: 58-55 winner over Liberty Tech


This group of Spartans were determined to make this trip back to Murfreesboro after their devastating loss last season. They stumbled along the way but regrouped in time for the playoffs and have been like butter ever since. Joe "The Real Thing"Jackson has scored in bunches since the turnaround while the Spartans are getting heady efforts from their deep and talented roster. 




Red Bank

Hometown: Chattanooga

Nickname: Lions

Record: 20-14

District: 6AAA

Region: 3AAA

Coach: John Cherne

Top Players: Nick Ross, Kelvin Clay, Bradley Britt

Region Final: 75-74 loss to Walker Valley

Sub-State: 58-51 winner over Oakland


This group of hungry Lions has managed to hunt their way to another spot among the states elite. Led by sophomore bomber Nick Ross and senior slinger Bradley Britt the Chatt Town Warriors can score in a hurry and usually do just that.
