Anthony the Next Spiderman… Richmond That Is

A huge summer for a "big" little dude caught the eye of nearly every coach in the Southeastern portion of the country.

Sure he's not very big, but he plays with a chip on his shoulder and he WINS!!!!

Kendall Anthony (Liberty Tech) parlayed a fantastic July into a commitment to NCAA tournament participant Richmond this past weekend.

Anthony, who starred this summer for the Nashville Celtics, proved he could compete on the highest level and the Atlantic 10 powerhouse, whose 26 wins last season was a school record, could not resist the allure of having him in the backcourt for the next four seasons.

Richmond mentor Chris Mooney gets a high level defender and scoring point with a winning mentality of the highest caliber.

Anthony will now focus on getting his Crusaders of Liberty Tech back to the Class AA state tournament after a crushing loss to Bolivar Central in the state title game.

Anthony becomes the sixth member of the Class of 2011 to pledge his wares to a D1 school
