place to be on Saturday morning as a group of the top seniors in the state
participated in the 5th annual Basketball Coaches of Tennessee (BCAT) All-Star
game.
Thrills and spills filled the gym as the West behind some
incredibly balanced scoring placed seven players in double digits and bested
the East 123-115.
Cameron Payne (
with 18 while Josh Jones (
Pryor (Ridgeway) added 16 and 15 respectively. Daniel Hill (
Tech) and Desean Dockery (Ridgeway) closed out the double digits craze with
11 and 10 points.
Jequan Lewis (
honors with 28 for the East squad. Reggie
Upshaw (Baylor) added 23. Three others from the East achieved the double
digit mark including Jamonte Graham
(Father Ryan) with 15, Josh Phillips
(PJPII) with 14 and Alex Fountain
(Wartburg Central) finished with 11.
Everybody on both rosters got in the scoring column.
Brandon Mitchell
(Ridgeway) and Rhyan Townes (
closed out the West roster.
Jamaal Calvin
(McCallie), Jemicah Bowman (
(Stone Memorial) and Xavier Howard (Harriman) completed the East roster.
