Travelers Making Most of Trip to Boo

You know its the start of the summer season when you can hardly find time to sit down and right a story about what is happening in our hoops world.

Over in Virginia the annual Boo Williams Memorial Tourney got underway with first day action and the lone Tennessee representative came out smelling like a rose.

In 17's action, state tourney MVP Jalen Steele (Fulton) was causing some headlines with his play as the Travs rolled up a 1-1 mark with action taking place later this evening. 

DeAndre Mattheiu (Knoxville Central) cause a stir with his play as the Travs 16's rolled to a double overtime victory on day one. Jordan Cross (Sullivan East) hit a crucial shot to send the game into its first overtime period. 

Down in the land of the 15's Craig "The Professor" Bradshaw (Greenbrier) skyed for a tip in at the buzzer to lift the Travs to their opening pool play victory.
