The road gets back underneath us in the next couple of days with the live period back in effect come Wednesday.

The Tennessee Travelers closed the last period on solid ground finishing 3-1 in West Virginia before representing Tennessee as the lone team in the Gold Division of the Super Showcase in Orlando.

The Travelers came out on fire winning their pool before falling in bracket action then coming back and claiming victory in their finale.

Tyler Hood (Lenoir City) had a strong tourney to go along with his strong summer thus far. Jalen Steele (Fulton) had a solid event continuing as the Travs leading scorer and drawing some new interest from schools across the Southeast.

Dwight Tarwater (Knoxville Webb) had a strong showing as well in West Virginia along with Brandon Herman (Grace Baptist).

The Travelers 16's also had a fine showing in West Virginia led by Rico "Suave" White (Bearden), Galen Campbell (Fulton) and Zach Garland (David Crockett).  In a tough early overtime loss Campbell dropped a cool 25, while White added 21 and Graland, who is really coming into his own this summer, finished with 17 points and 12 caroms.

Meanwhile the 17's head for Orlando later this week and will compete in a Pool with the likes of CP3 All-Stars, Louisiana Select and Each One Teach One.
