Keeping your players at home is one of the hardest jobs for a local coach.

In a city like Memphis the local talent can be abundant and with every school in the country chomping at your heels it can be a tough road keeping the city's top talent home.

Coach Josh Pastner has managed to pull off the feat getting a pledge from national Top 10 recuit and the state's top player Austin Nichols (Briarcrest Christian).

Nichols joins fellow Memphians Nick King (Memphis East), Sam Craft (Craigmont) and Markel Crawford (Melrose) as members of the vaunted Class of 2013 for the burgeoning Tiger program.

Nichols, who ran this summer with the M33M Ballerz, becomes the 21st member of the fantastic Class of 2013 in the Volunteer state to commit.

As previously mentioned Nichols is listed in the Top 20 of nearly every major recruiting service national rankings.

The Tigers will compete in Conference USA this season.
