The Real Deal in the Rock got off to a blistering start for the Memphis Magic Elite.
Struggling a bit in the first half the dawgs were set loose in the second stanza and the Magic cruised to an easy 70-53 win over the Arkansas Stars.
Joe Jackson (White Station) was the Real Thing at the Real Deal scoring a team high 23 and dishing out 6 assists, including a crowd pleasing tear drop pass to a flying Adonis Thomas (Melrose) for the flush.
Thomas was solid on both ends of the floor finishing with 15 markers and double digit boards.
Chris Crawford (Sheffield) finished with 10.
In the car I sped across Little Rock to catch the Nashville Celtics rout of the Central Kentucky Storm 70-39.
The Celtics held the Storn to 11 first half points.
Balanced scoring was the norm yet Cody Henegar (Marion County) showed some much improved toughness on the glass and had close to double digit blocks on the evening.
Action continues for everyone tomorrow...stay tuned.
