When the Professor steps up the class always pays attention.

Craig Bradshaw (Greenbrier) was magnificent finishing with 26 points as the Tennessee Travelers slipped by a tough Tennessee Rhinos squad in overtime.

Bradshaw was at his best all weekend leading the Travs in scoring and toughness. Jaylen Allen (Science Hill) was assigned the task of guarding the talented Rhinos stud Cordell James (McCallie) and he performed admirably. He also managed to chip in 12 points and is slowly becoming accustomed to playing the point guard position.

Braylen "Vitamin B" Bennett (Carter) had another outstanding weekend providing some much needed inside scoring. Cody Mallicote (Campbell County) and Zach Howard (Science Hill) stepped up and had solid efforts as well.

The aforemention James was the talk of the weekend for those who had not seen him perform. His ability to finish everything at the rim and his effort set him apart for the Rhinos.

Joey Macourek (Powell) was a scoring machine over the course of the sub-state tourney. He dropped 28 in the semi-final loss to the Travs and then added 21 in the third place win.
