The New Scoring List is Up…The New Scoring List is Up

Its basketball time my friends and as always I am criss-crossing the state to bring you all the information that I can gather. Here is the first run of our weekly state scoring list that has become one of the most enjoyed features that we present.

College coaches have told me this is their favorite segment as they can see who is doing what in all three segments of the hoops landscape in the state of Tennessee.

The playoffs loom just around the corner as the teams begin to separate themselves from one another. Check out this weeks scoring list.

Justin Barnett (Sevier County) is playing like a young man possessed. The junior guard had a fabulous week dropping 30 in a win over Seymour then adding an additional 29 against Cocke County as the Smoky Bears are one of the best kept secrets in East Tennessee.

The exploits of Tennessee signee Jordan Bone (Ensworth) continue to grow. The rising senior guard dropped a cool 27 in a win over Baylor.

Antonio Reed (Douglass) might be the best player in Memphis that nobody knows. An injury kept him off the list for a minute but his return was marked with a 32 point effort against Trezevant and a 29 point outburst against Manassas.

Who is going to represent in the 'boro in Class A? The fight is on in East Tennessee. Logan Walters (Marion County) would like for his squad to be among the participants and just may be with his scoring exploits including a 39 point effort against Richard Hardy and a 29 point night in a loss to Van Buren County.

Tyler Thompson (Kingston) etched his name in Kingston folklore forever passing the 1,000 point mark for his career. Congrats to Mr. Thompson.

In Nashville let us not forget the scoring sessions turned in by rising junior Bo Hodges (Maplewood). Bo Knows scoring and he did just that with a 27 point effort against Hume Fogg and another 25 spot in a win over Stratford.
