“The King” Leads West Past East in Music All-Star Showdown

A high scoring affair was the flavor of the day at the Music City All-Star Classic.

"King" Arthur McMillan (Hillsboro) thwarted a furious East comeback leading his West squad to a narrow 125-124 victory with 25 points and the game's MVP honors.

The Morehead State commitment joined a host of scorers for the West squad. Emmanuel Andrews (Shelbyville) chipped in with 21 points, Christian Little (McGavock) added 15 markers, Lipscomb signee Demarius Smith (Kenwood) punched in 14 and three-point shooting contest winner E.J. Perry (Westmoreland) finished with 11.

Morehead State signee Robert Wade (Maplewood) helped lead the furious East comeback with a game high 27 points. Five other East players chipped in with double figures including Antwan Vanlier (Hunter's Lane) with 22, Fred Lee (Maplewood) added 19, Justin Claybrooks (Hume Fogg) finished with 14 and Teraes Clemmons (Mt. Juliet) and Killen Middleton (MTCS) both finished with 11 points.

Smith outlasted Andrews to capture the slam dunk title.
