Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League Week #1 Game Capsules

Week #1 of the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League got off to an exciting start with several big time performances. Lets see who got hot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tennessee 76

Vanderbilt 65

Reese Glover (Franklin) busted six deep three's finishing with 18 points and leading Tennessee to a 76-65 win over Vanderbilt in opening game action at the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League.

Ben Mills (Brentwood) added 13 while Evan Sigler (Franklin) pitched in with 11 in the win.

Brandon Thomas (Blackman) tied for game scoring honors with 18 in the loss. Jordan Burchfield (Blackman) pitched in with 11.

Tennessee (1-0) will battle Maryland (1-0) in a game of unbeatens this Saturday at CPA. Vanderbilt (0-1) looks to get back on the winning side of the ledger with a tussle against Kentucky (1-0).

 

 

Maryland 81

Indiana 65

 K.J. Johnson (Marshall County) dropped a game high 18 as Maryland moved to 1-0 on the young season with an 81-65 triumph over Indiana.

Joining Johnson in the scoring column were George Corzine (USN) with 13, Jared Ward (White House) and William Christie-Mizell (USN) with 12 markers each.

Isaiah Bowers (White's Creek) scored 16 to lead Indiana who also got 15 from Syeed Anderson (Lead Academy) and 12 from Tyus White (Lead Academy) in the loss.

Maryland (1-0) will put their unblemished mark on the line this Saturday at CPA against Tennessee (1-0) while Indiana (0-1) looks to right the ship against Michigan State (0-1).

 

 

Kentucky 67

Florida 55

 Isaac Polk (Summit) and Jaden Lewis (Summit) dropped 18 and 17 respectively as Kentucky bested Florida to the tune of 67-55.

Derron Perry (Riverdale) was the lone Florida player in double digits with 11 in the loss.

Kentucky (1-0) will take on Vanderbilt (0-1) while Florida (0-1) looks to get on the winning way against Auburn (1-0).

 

 

Michigan 93

Michigan State 77

 Will Midlick (Rossview) led a six pack of players in double digits with 18 as Michigan moved to 1-0 on the season with a 93-77 victory over Michigan State.

Balance was the name of the game for Michigan with David Smith (Cane Ridge), Gray Michael (Franklin Classical) and Ross Johnson (MBA) all scoring 13 apiece while Jonathan Howard (Cane Ridge) and Bryce Watts (Franklin Classical) added 10 each in the win.

Not to be outdone Michigan State placed five in double digits led by the game high scorer Justin McMurry (Station Camp) with 25.

Ethan Jones (Siegel) added 16, Robjhay Bush (LaVergne) pitched in with 13, Joseph Howard (Siegel) got 11 and Matthew Schneider (Seigel) closed with 10.

Michigan (1-0) takes on Ohio State (0-1) while Michigan State (0-1) took to rebound against Indiana (0-1).

 

 

Auburn 85

Ohio State 81

 Dennis Stallings (White's Creek) dropped 30 and Bryce McBride (Jackson Southside) added 28 as Auburn needed every one of them as they slid past a tough Ohio State squad 85-81 in the best clash of the day.

Demonte Street (White's Creek) added 10 in the win.

Nate Bloedorn (Nolensville) led Ohio State with 18. Price Tramel (Oakland) added 14, Preston Garner (Independence) got 12 and Chuck Turner (Oakland) added 10 in the narrow loss.

Auburn (1-0) puts its clean record on the line this Saturday at CPA against Florida (0-1) while Ohio State (0-1) looks to get back against Michigan (1-0).
