Tennessee Prep Hoops Best in State 15U Game Capsules, Stats and Overview

The 3rd annual Tennessee Prep Hoops Best in State was another showcase of talent from all over the state of Tennessee. 16 teams converged on Stone Memorial High School in Crossville for the event including 4 squads in the 15U division, 6 in both the 16U and 17U classifications. Lets begin in the 15U division.

 

 

 

EOTO 15U 67 (1-0)

Middle Tennessee Impact 47 (0-1)

 

Four players dropped double digits led by Thomas Harper (Karns) with 18 as the EOTO defeated the Middle Tennessee Impact 67-47 to begin the day at Best in State. Harper was joined in the scorebook by Connor Jordan (Morristown East) with 15 and a pair of 10 point producers in Shamarcus Brown (Bearden) and Teazjawon Harper (Karns).

Chance Cruesoe (Riverdale) and Malik McAlister (Riverdale) led the Impact with 12 and 10 respectively.

 

BMaze Elite 15U 59 (1-0)

Chattanooga Elite 43 (0-1)

Quez Glover (Bearden) dangled a game high 17 markers as the BMaze Elite 15U dispatched of the Chattanooga Elite in Best in State action 59-43. Balanced scoring was the key for the BMaze group. Justin Headrick (Stone Memorial) and DeAlunta Cal (Ooltewah) led Chattanooga with 10 points each in the loss.

 

Middle Tennessee Impact 56 (1-1)

Chattanooga Elite 44 (0-2)

Malik McAlister (Riverdale) notched 12 and Donovan Jackson (Stewart's Creek) added 10 as the Middle Tennessee Impact scored their first win of the tourney with a 56-44 triumph over the Chattanooga Elite.Kameron Watson (McCallie) scored a game high 19 to lead the Elite while DeAlunta Cal (Ooltewah) added 10 in the loss.

 

EOTO 15U 69 (2-0)

BMaze Elite 15U 64 (1-1)

Teazjuwon Harper (Karns) notched a tournament high 25 as EOTO defeated the BMaze Elite in one of the most highly anticipated games of the event 69-64 in 15U action at the 3rd annual Tennessee Prep Hoops Best in State event. Thomas Harper (Karns) continued his outstanding play notching 11 points in the victory.

Marcus Smith (Oak Ridge) led the charge for BMaze with 12 points.

 

BMaze Elite 15U 79 (2-1)

Middle Tennessee Impact 15U 71 (1-2)

 Trey Davis (Fulton) played his best game of the tournament notching 17 points and leading the BMaze Elite to a 79-71 victory over the Middle Tennessee Impact at Best in State. Jordan Rawls (Hamilton Heights) and Quez Glover (Bearden) added 11 points each in the victory.

Keyshawn Collier (Ensworth) led the Impact with a game high 19 markers followed closely by Louis McDaniel (Ensworth) with 14 points.

 

EOTO 15U 58 (3-0)

Chattanooga Elite 15U 33 (0-3)

Teazjawon Harper (Karns) concluded an outstanding event with a game high 18 points as EOTO finished the Best in State unblemished with a 58-33 win over the Chattanooga Elite. Shamarcus Brown (Bearden) chipped in 10 markers in the victory.

Justin Headrick (Stone Memorial) and DeAluntra Cal (Ooltewah) each scored 7 apiece for the Elite.
