Team Nashville Successful in St. Louis

Events were happening all over the country this past weekend. St. Louis was the destination for Team Nashville as they had all three age groups down at the Mullins High Profile Event.

In the 15 and under division, Team Nashville had a nice showing ending the event in 4th place in their age group. In the opener Jordan Bone (Ensworth) led the scoring charge with 14 as Team Nashville defeated the Missouri Impact.

Clayton Hughes (USJ) took game scoring honors with 23 in Game #2 as Team Nashville bested TNBC Flight to the tune of 73-59. Bone added 11 in the win.

 

Grant Teichmann (Brentwood) led the scoring brigade with 19 points as the Team Nashville 16 and under squad started with a bang and a win over Top City. Kevonta Davis (Hillsboro) added 13 in the opening game victory. James McPherson (Brentwood) added 12.

Davis took scoring honors in the squads other victory over the St. Louis Gym Rats scoring 15. Leon Howard (Nashville Overton) added 10 as Team Nashville finished the event 2-3 in the 16 and under age division.

 

The 17 and under Team Nashville squad stumbled just once as they finished 4-1 and garnered a top tier finish. In the opening contest Ladarious Chester (Melrose) notched 19 markers and Charles Clark (Siegel) added 15 in a win over the St. Louis Gym Rats. Jacob Williams (Wilson Central) added 10 in the win.

Ryan Jones (Siegel) scored 14 and Clark managed 10 as Team Nashville got past the Puma Elite 58-43.

Clark managed 13 in the third contest but Team Nashville came up short 54-49 to the Kansas City Run-n-Gun. Jones added 11 and Williams finished with 10 in the squads only defeat.

Clark reemerged with 17 markers as Team Nashville bested the Tulsa Hawks to close the event on a winning note. Chester finished with 15 and Andrew Golden (Columbia Academy) added 14 in the win.

Team Nashville will be at the Kentucky Hoop Fest in Louisville this week.
