Team Nashville Dominates at Murfreesboro Hoops Classic

Team Nashville
finished a gaudy 11-0 as the 16's and 15's captured tournament crowns at the
Murfreesboro Hoop Classic at Riverdale this past weekend.

In the 16 and under division, Team Nashville completed a 5-0
run with several mercy rule victories to their credit. Leading the way was
rising junior guard Kyle Oliver (Oakland).

The 6'3 Oliver was the go to guy for majority of the weekend
but was far from alone as Team Nashville got several outstanding performances
from an emerging 16 and under group.

Christian Smith
(Sycamore)
was lauded for his outside marksmanship. The lanky junior to be
kept the defense honest with his range and touch.

Guard play was outstanding as point man Leon Howard (Overton) and Tripp Davis (Lighthouse) were able to
control tempo and have their way defensively.

Kevonte Davis (Hillsboro) also drew
special mention for his work on the boards and on the interior. The 6'7
emerging inside presence is set to have a solid run this summer.

6-0 and the championship in the 15 and under division, Team
Nashville looked better than expected as they cruised through the field at the
Murfreesboro Hoop Classic this past weekend.

Clayton Hughes (USJ) is
an emerging gem according to several onlookers. The 6'5 hybrid wing has incredible
hops and will be someone who certainly finds his way onto our radar this
summer.

Yalen Reed (Lebanon) is
making the transition to the wing this summer. The 6'6 athletic Reed made big
strides in his development and will need to continue his uprise as the exposure
events culminate at the end of the month.

Guard play was massive for Team Nashville as aspiring
sophomores to be Nick Hopkins (Fayetteville), Jordan
Bone (Ensworth) and Ross Plunkett (Creek Wood)
all had big moments during
the weekend. This will be a strong suit for Team Nashville as the summer moves
along.

Special mention was also lauded for Austin Brown (Mt.
Juliet
)
for his
effort during the event.
