Sub-State Action tips tomorrow night all over the state with the winners advancing to the state tournament in Murfreesboro.

5 Games to Pay Particularly Close Attention

MTCS @ Perry County

This game could turn out to be a scorer's delight but as is usually the case this late in the season the defense seem to dictate the style of play. Perry County has capable scorers in Cannon Rhodes and Jacob Tucker while MTCS counters with the scoring exploits of Micah Farmer and Derrick Spears.

Sequatchie County @ Howard

Howard will ride the sturdy shoulders of emerging junior post player Brandon Walters just as far as he is capable of taking them. Walters has played his best basketball at the close of the season and will be a handful for Sequatchie as they come to Chattanooga. Daniel Cartwright has played outstanding basketball during the region tournament and along with his counterpart Keegan Fredrick will give the Hustlin' Tigers a run for their money tomorrow evening.

Wilson Central @ Brentwood

The Bruins avenged a couple of late season losses to Ravenwood then dispatched of Hunter's Lane to give themselves the home court for Monday night. Jack Montague is playing at his highest level right now and will need to continue this as Wilson Central comes to town. Dee Oldham leads the Wildcats who are playing good ball of their own.

Memphis East @ Bartlett

Someone I know had Bartlett ranked in the state top 10 all season but the rest of the world didn't seem to think it was true, well look at them now. Anthlon Bell is a big time player and the Panthers welcome Nick King and Memphis East into their home for what should be a big time battle. East disposed of Southwind and then Melrose but fell to Central in the region final.

Craigmont @ Memphis Central

The defending state champions have regrouped and are more than ready to defend their crown as they travel to Central for the clash of titans on Monday evening. Sam Craft and Jordan Washington are playing at a high level for the Chiefs while Myron Johnson from Central has the people in Memphis on their toes with his high level exploits during the region tournament.
