This is a huge year for Tyler Stone (Memphis Central).

The rising senior had a superb summer and is looking to make himself a common entity on dry erase boards in coaches offices all across the country.

Stone dropped 19 points and 13 caroms but fell just short as his Lakers fell to the Heat in CBL Memphis action over the weekend.

The Lakers fell to 0-2 but are missing the services of Ole Miss commitment Reginald Buckner (Manassas).

The Heat were led by the duo of Ronald Brown (Raleigh-Egypt) and Reggie Fondren (Raleigh-Egypt).

In other action Adonis Thomas (Melrose) scorched the twine for 25 large leading the Knicks past the Bulls. Quinton Lowe (Melrose) was outstanding for the Knicks scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 boards. The win moves the Knicks to 2-0.

Anthony Jones (Raleigh-Egypt) scored 32 points leading the Timberwolves past the Pistons. The Pistons were led by the backcourt duo of Chris Crawford (Sheffield) and Jermaine Holliman (Melrose).

Stay tuned for more.
