Just an ordinary homecoming night at Hardin County with extraordinary events taking place.
On this special night Coach Wes Wilkerson welcomed two players into the elite 1,000 point club.
Will Gilcrest (Hardin County) and Charles Porter (Hardin County) both cracked the milestone point barrier in the same contest which proved to be very special for coaches, players and Hardin County fans alike.
Gilcrest will spend the next four seasons with the pigskin as the senior signed to played football at Memphis. Congrats to him.
Over in the mid-state area our game of the week between Franklin and Independence proved to more than a Rebel victory as senior guard Michael Young (Franklin) also moved past the 1,000 point barrier on this evening.
