Brandon Herman (Grace Baptist) scored 29 points and grabbed 10 boards leading the Golden Eagles past Westwood 66-53 and earning themselves a spot in the Class A finals against big and powerful Clarksville Academy.
Jarvis Sullivan (Westwood) finished with 15 points for Westwood.
In the day's opening contest, fellow Mr. Basketball candidate Malcolm Smith (Clrksville Academy) scored a hefty 29 points and snatched 15 caroms leading the Cougars past a determined CSAS squad 59-50 and their spot along side Grace for the crown.
Smith was not alone as his twin brother, Martin Smith (Clarksville Academy) dropped a double/double of his own scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 boards.
Alex Stallion (CSAS) concluded a sterling state tourney finishing with 23 points for the Patriots.
The championship game of the Class A division gets underway at 2:00 tomorrow followed by the announcement of Mr. Basketball.
