Sir Duke Stays Home…..TSU Welcomes Him with Open Arms

Stay home young man.

Good advise if you can get it.

Jalen Duke (MLK) took this news to heart and will attend Tennessee State University in the fall.

Duke, who played this summer with the Nashville Celtics, is the all-time leading scorer at MLK and finished his career as one of the best players to come out of the metro area in many years.

Duke is the 15th member of the Class of 2015 to pledge D1 in Tennessee.

The Tigers struggled a bit this season finishing 5-26 behind first year coach Dana Ford, who was at the school previously as an assistant under John Cooper.

Good things are happening on this Nashville campus for the Tigers who are a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.
