Patrick Shaughnessy (Grace Baptist) is the newest member of the Class of 2009 to commit when he pledged his services for the next four seasons to the Buccaneers of Charleston Southern.
Shaughnessy, wo played his summer ball with the Nashville Celtics, is a tough, active big man who has a tireless motor and improving offensive skills.
Charleston Southern plays in the Big South conference and is coached by venerable Barclay Radebaugh.
His new mentor will love the intensity and work ethic of his upcoming player but not before he helps lead his Grace Baptist teammates back for a shot at the Class A state championships in March.
