Saunders Lights Things Up at TPH Nashville Fall League

Week #3 at the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League saw the attendance a bit down due to the ACT test but some of the best games this whole season were played this Saturday with nary a blowout among them.

Kentucky 95

Tennessee 94

The triumvirate of Tim Smith (Ezell-Harding), Terry Holt (East Nashville) and Jeremiah Oatsvall (Brentwood Academy) combined for 86 of the teams final tally as they lifted Kentucky to their first win of the season a narrow 95-94 win over Tennessee.

Smith led the charge with 30 large while Holt was nipping at his heels with 29. Oatsvall added 27 in the win.

Davis Anderton (Harpeth) got hot early and often as the rising senior marksman dropped 26 in the narrow loss. James McPherson (Brentwood) tallied 19 while Hunter Vick (Camden Central) and Jake West (Hendersonville) finished with 15 and 14 respectively.

The win moves Kentucky to 1-2 on the season staring at a date this Saturday against high powered Georgia Tech.

Tennessee looks to get into the win column against conference foe LSU.

Jacob Saunders (Cheatham County) went nuts dropping 10 three's and finishing with 40 points as Clemson knocked Georgia Tech from the ranks of unbeaten 111-94 in a thrilling game.

Devin Pitts (Antioch) added 24 points in the win and was the straw that stirred the machine tallying double digit assists and playing his heart out on the defensive end of the floor.
