Rocky Top D-League Week #3 Game Results

We are the halfway point at the Rocky Top D-League with division races starting to heat up as we head towards Championship Tuesday on September 14th. Here is how things went down in Week #3

 

 

 

 

Team Rogers 80

Team Bridges 77

 

Drew Brillhart (Bearden) and Caden Windle (William Blount) scored 24 and 22 points respectively as Team Rogers took over sole possession of first place in the Jackie Division with a hard fought 80-77 win over a very tough Team Bridges.

 

The win moved Team Rogers to 3-0.

 

Grady Robertson (William Blount) added 12 markers in the victory while King Hubbard (Bearden) chipped in with 11.

 

The win overshadowed a scoring barrage from Shane Cherry (Austin East) who dropped 47 in the marrow defeat.

 

Reed Ownby (Sevier County) finished with 15 in the loss.

 

Team Rogers (3-0) looks to stay unblemished as they battle Team Sewell (0-3) this Tuesday. Team Bridges (2-1) looks to get back on track as they welcome Team Holt (1-2) to Rocky Top D-League Tuesday night action.

 

 

Team Brewster 99

Team Holt 67

 

J.D. Harris (Knoxville Central) led five in double digits as Team Brewster exploded into the win column with a 99-67 victory over Team Holt.

 

Cade Capps (Stone Memorial) returned to action with 23 markers. He was joined in scorebook by Lucas Erozon (Gatlinburg-Pittman) with 17, Seth Sutton (Gatlinburg-Pittman) added 14 and Jason Coughlin (Knoxville Central) contributed 10 in the win.

 

Brady Haun (Alcoa) led Team Holt with 18 markers.

 

Luke Cannon (Alcoa) added 14 while Aaron Layne (Kingston) chipped in 12.

 

Team Brewster (1-2) looks to stay on the positive side of the winning ledger as they tangle with Team Boles (2-1).

 

Team Holt (1-2) looks to bounce back in a big way as they battle Team Bridges (2-1).

JaMichael Blair (Bearden) put on a show for the D-League crowd scoring 26 markers as Team Boles snuck past a shorthanded Team Sewell 82-81.

 

Marquel Patterson (South Doyle) had another outstanding game scoring 23 markers in the win.

 

Aiden Van Acker (Farragut) added 15 while Zach McNabb (Lenoir City) closed with 12.

 

Tony Spadaphora (Farragut) had a big game netting 25 in the tough loss.

 

Dominic Van Acker (Farragut) on loan from the other squad so they could have five had a nice game dropping 21 points while Lucas Garman (Maryville) finished with 19.

 

Team Boles (2-1) will ride the momentum of the win into a big contest against surging Team Brewster (1-2).

 

Team Sewell (0-3) with three losses by a combined six points looks to get into the win column against Team Rogers (3-0).

Brennen Scott (Oak Ridge) bangs out 25 large as Team McGhee gets into the win column with a 70-58 victory over Team Gregory.

 

Scott was welcomed into the score book by Quez Thomas (Oak Ridge) with 16 and Kaden Brightharp (Oak Ridge) with 13.

 

Deondra Lindsey (Knoxville  Catholic) played his best game thus far finishing with 20 markers in the loss.

 

Jaevien Eleam (Knoxville Catholic) added 16 while Devin Martin (Knoxville West) closed with 11.

 

Team McGhee (1-2) puts their win streak on the line this Tuesday against Team Webb (2-1).

 

Team Gregory (0-3) battles Team Keeton (1-2).

 

 

Team Murphy 88

Cade Murphy (Union County), Drake Ingram (Knoxville Webb) and Jaylen Pompey (Knoxville Webb) rang it up for 25, 24 and 21 markers as Team Murphy took over the top spot in the Moon Division with a tough 88-76 win over a scrappy Team Keeton.

 

Isaac McNealy (Jellico) added 14 in the win.

 

Mason Keeton (Oneida) was outstanding scoring 25 markers in the loss.

 

Cooper Roberts (FBA) remained steady with 21 points and Carter Nelson (Anderson County) tossed in 10.

 

Team Murphy (3-0) puts their unbeaten mark on the line this Tuesday against Team Green (2-1).

 

Team Keeton (1-2) battles Team Gregory (0-3).

Baron Sheetz (Hardin  Valley) scored a game high 19 markers as Team Green got past a determined Team Webb 67-55 in the final game of the day to close out Week #3 of the Rocky Top D-League.

 

Zane Brown (Carter) added 13 in the win.

 

Derik Smith (Fulton) scored 18 to lead Team Webb.

 

Nic Hodge (Hardin Valley) closed with 10 in defeat.

 

Team Green (2-1) looks to stay on the winning side as they tangle with division leader Team Murphy (3-0).

 

Team Webb (2-1) is poised to bounce back as they battle Team McGhee (1-2).
