You had to come early if you wanted a good seat at the second meeting of Austin East and Fulton.

The Roadrunners took the earlier contest at home and now traveled across K-Town for the showdown with their district nemesis.

There would be no disappointment.

Travai Pryor (Austin East) dropped 24 big ones and the Roadrunners of A.E. bested the Falcons 58-51.

Fulton took the early lead on a couple of Jalen Steele (Fulton) buckets and finished the first quarter up 15-6. Steele would get into foul trouble and finish the first half on the bench. This allows A.E. to make a run but Fulton still hold the halftime advantage 26-20.

The third quarter was indicitive of what this rivalry is al about. The Roadrunners grab the lead on another put back by Pryor but a big three and sweet assist from senior playmaker Shannon Hollingsworth (Fulton) pulls the Falcons ahead 35-31.

Austin East ties the contest on another Pryor offensive stick-back and a Chance Jones (Austin East) breakaway slam.

James Gallman (Fulton) puts Fulton back in the lead with a crowd pleasing three and the third quarter continued it's back and forth sway until Hollingsworth finished out the stanza with another sic assist and uncontested drive to the glass.

Austin East took charge in the fourth outscoring the Falcons 18-7 behind a plethora of stick-backs and short jumpers by the sophomore Pryor.

Pryor had a huge night controlling the offensive boards and scoring at will inside against the smaller Falcons. With his length and athletic prowess Pryor is only gym and skil work away from being a big time recruit.

Pryor finished with 24 and was complemented by the Jones twins, Chase and Chance who both contributed 8 points.

James Gallman had 11 for Fulton. Jalen Steele finished with 10.
