With the season coming to and end very shortly for a number of players we wanted to honor some guys for outstanding achievements over the course of their hoops careers.

Tyler Carter (Oliver Springs)

The 6'5 big man currently has his squad in the district finals and has at last count piled more than 1,000 points and over 800 rebounds for his career.

Tyler Huston (Pleasant View Christian)

One of the highest scoring players in the Christian school division, Tyler has amassed over 1,500 points in only two short years at the school.

Drew Kelly (Centennial)

The Mr. Basketball nominee and future Miami of Ohio player has had a momentus high school career. With a high game of 67 at the King of the Bluegrass event this season, Kelly has accumulated 2,843 points for his career.

Skylar McBee (Grainger)

Has the distinction of being the all-time leading scorer at Grainger High School, ok so the school has only been in existence for one season, but thats not to undermine this young mans credentials. Sky has dropped over 2,250 points and is still going strong with his Grizzlies alive and ready for region play this Saturday.

James Gallman (Fulton)

When James passed the 1,500 point mark this past week he moved past University of Tennessee All-Century team member Bill Justus into fifth place on the Falcons all-time list. James, who is headed to play for Coach Kermit Davis at MTSU, has one more run left in him and hopes to lead his squad to their defense of the Class AA state crown.

Coaches, parents, anyone who reads if you know of a player who has amassed over 1,000 points or has become the school all-time leader please drop me a line at andre@tnprephoops.com and I will be sure to include it the next installment of player milestones.

Thanks and good luck to everyone in region.
