Pacers Dominate Super Saturday at the Super 80…..”The Real Thing” Brings Home MVP Honors

Joe Jackson (White Station) dropped 22 large and managed to find time to snare 8 boards and dish 8 dimes capturing League MVP honors while leading the Pacers to a 70-50 victory in the title game of the Super 80 Fall League.

Jackson was not alone in his quest for the gold, Tarik Black (Ridgeway) managed a triple double with 20 markers, 15 boards and 11 blocks, good enough to gather Tournament MVP honors. Mardracus Wade (Mitchell) added 13 in the win.

Bryant Reams (Lausanne) scored 18 for the Heat in defeat. Frankie Bougher (CBHS) added 11 points.

In the consolation game Ferrakohn Hall (White Station) scored 21 points and grabbed 8 boards leading the Grizzlies to a third place finish over the Spurs 59-50. Joining Hall in the scoring column rising freshman Adam Weary (Ridgeway) knocked down 13 and Darryl Marshall (Wooddale) added 11 points and six assists.

Todd Mayo (Houston) led the Spurs with 18.

In the select game Gregg Wooten (Braircrest Christian) scored a game high 22 points and helped his Select 1 squad score a 79-67 victory over Select II.
