In climate weather postponed numerous games around the state last week and those contests will be made up over the next two weeks. Look for these teams to play more games than are scheduled and hopefully not hit any bumps in the road this late in the game.

1. Ridgeway 17-0 (1)

Holding on to the top spot with a big district tilt with the young powerhouse Southwind, whom they defeated earlier in the year.

@ Collierville (2/2); @ Southwind (2/5)

2. Melrose 21-1 (2)

This week is gigantic for the Golden Hurricanes, the first epic encounter with The Station and a rematch with the assessor of their only blemish, Central.

White Station (2/1); @ Memphis Central (2/5)

3. Bearden 20-0 (3)

Ty Greene (Bearden) has been the constant for the Bulldogs while some of his teammates have dealt with injury and such.

@ William Blount (2/2); Knoxville West (2/5)

4. Southwind 19-2 (4)

This young squad has a chance to prove to the city of Memphis that they are for real and can play with the big boys when they battle Ridgeway this Friday.

@ Memphis Overton (2/2); Ridgeway (2/5)

5. White Station 17-4 (5)

Sure I know what your thinking, they lost this weekend, yes but it was to the #5 ranked squad in the country St. Patrick's and by two points, I think they are fine right here.

@ Melrose (2/2); Hamilton (2/5)

6. Memphis Central 17-3 (6)

The battles that are heating up in Memphis will be nothing short of epic with the action the next two weeks. Can Central hold off Melrose again, we shall find out.

@ Hamilton (2/2); Melrose (2/5)

7. Fulton 15-2 (8)

The Falcons should be getting the services of the injured Campbell back soon and as is the trend with Fulton they are primed for a sic February run.

Gatlinburg-Pittman (2/5)

8. Nashville Overton 20-2 (9)

These guys just keep on getting things done and plowing through the competition in the Nashville area, have they snatched the moniker of the mid-state's best.......maybe so

@ McGavock (2/2); Glencliff (2/5)

9. Hunter's Lane 18-3 (12)

Just win baby and keep everything close until their high profile rematch with Overton coming to a court near you next week.

Cane Ridge (2/2)

10. Clarksville Northeast 16-2 (7)

If nothing else the second loss will be fuel for Coach Cooper to use to make this team better in the long run.

@ West Creek (2/2); Rossview (2/5)

11. Gatlinburg-Pittman 17-2 (13)

The great thing about this game is you get to take care of your own business right their on the hardwood. The Highlanders have a rematch with Fulton, ‘nuff said.

Gibbs (2/2); Austin East (2/4); @ Fulton (2/5)

12. Jackson Northside 14-4 (NR)

What were we waiting for? Two wins over Bolivar Central and another against Dyer County, plus they have Casey Prather (Jackson Northside), case closed.

@ Bolton (2/1); Hardin County (2/5)

13. Bolivar Central 16-3 (10)

This is the time when you can usually set your clock by the success of the Tigers. Playoffs right around the corner, things are good in Bolivar.

@ Liberty Tech (2/2); @ JCM (2/5)

14. Craigmont 19-2 (15)

If I was anyone with the Chiefs on the upcoming schedule, I would be worried to say the least. They continue to win and will be a factor as things really heat up.

Raleigh-Egypt (2/2); Bartlett (2/5)

15. Dyer County 20-3 (14)

It's crunch time for the Choctaws as they gear up for some tough district competition in the coming weeks. Their depth should help with the extra games due to weather.

Fayette-Ware (2/1); Dyersburg (2/5)
