The 17th annual NBPA Players Association tips off with games today, tomorrow and Saturday.

The Volunteer state is well represented with five players ready to show the basketball world where they belong.

Chris Jones (Melrose) brings his exciting brand of scoring and floor management to forefront with some of the best players in the country.

Cedric McAfee (Melrose) comes in to the camp a bit under the national radar with a huge chance to show he belongs with the big boys.

Jarnell Stokes (Memphis Central) needs no introduction and is among the top big men in any class ready to do some damage in Virginia.

Jordan Price (McCallie) has a big national reputation and what better place to enhance his standing among the nations elite.

Alex Poythress (Clarksville Northeast) is about to blow sky high after a tremendous early portion of the summer.

I will have stats and information on our guys throughout the week from the John Paul Jones Arena on the picturesque campus of the University of Virginia.
