Nashville Elite Takes 17 and Under Crown at Murfreesboro Hoop Fest

Nashville
made a clean sweep of this past weekends Murfreesboro Hoop Fest. As previously
mentioned in an earlier story Team Nashville took the crown in the 16's and 15
and under division.

In the 17 and under group Nashville Elite bested the
Tennessee Blue Devils 77-54 to capture the crown. Charging to an early 20 point
lead the Elite never looked back as they cruised to the championship game
victory.

Trevor Randolph
(Goodpasture)
was lauded for his scoring and board work finishing with a
double/double in the contest. Davis Anderton
(Harpeth), Chris Kennedy (Goodpasture) and Harrison Brammell (Davidson Academy)
also received kudos for their scoring efforts.

The Elite started strong winning both their pool games.
Anderton and Brammell led the scoring in a 52-49 victory over the Kentucky
Heat. Nick Young (Greenbrier) was
lauded for his scoring as well. Kennedy was a standout on the defensive end.

Game two saw the Elite dim the Clarksville Stars 57-46
behind Anderton, Kennedy and Parker
Henry (Beech).

Greg Quesinberry
(MBA)
got mention for his defensive efforts.

Bracket play started with a sound 57-43 victory over TNT.
Kennedy, Young, Randolph and Joseph
Bauer (Father Ryan)
took scoring honors.

Balanced scoring and significant contributions from everyone
on the roster helped the Elite take the crown in the 'boro.
