A fantastic week for the state of Tennessee as teams from all corners of the state competed and brought home hardware from the various events in which they participated.

The Nashville Celtics made the absolute most of their time at the 19th annual Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions falling in the championship game of the consolation bracket to the North Carolina Red Storm.

The Celtics made easy work of their semi-final opponent the Charlotte Reign to the tune of 80-54 behind 17 points from Josh Williams (Mississippi), 13 from Class of 2014 sharp-shooter Daniel Norl (Kenwood) and 12 from Reggie Upshaw (Baylor).

Upshaw had an outstanding event showing his versatility as a player scoring from both the outside and off the dribble; he defended and made believers of the throng of coaches who sat in attendance during the action packed weekend.

Upshaw was named to the prestigious Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions All-Tournament team for his noble efforts.

The Celtics got strong efforts all around in the backcourt from Damentraus McReynolds (Kentucky) and Vonn Bell (Georgia).

Inside work was done by the likes of Tom Kaiser (MBA) and Joey Barnes (Ravenwood).
