Nashville Celtics 16s Make Title Game at On the Radar Hoops

Back in Atlanta where the players play.

On the Radar Hoops got a eyeful of the 16 and under Nashville Celtics.

The mid-state crew advanced to the title contest falling to the shoe sponsored Game Elite 67-65 in sudden death overtime.

Tristan Jarrett (Haywood) had the hot hand for the Celtics most of the weekend including 29 in the title game. Jarrett averaged around 20 per contest as the Celtics finished the event at 4-1 including wins over the Southern Stampede and the Q6 All-Stars from Florida.

John Carter (Summit), who is fast moving up my favorite player list, played majority of the event running the point and his production soared. The rising junior averaged 17 per game and did a nice job getting everyone involved in the action.

David Murray (Liberty Tech) was lauded for his defensive effort.

Steady and solid describes the contributions from Geordan Reed (Jackson Southside) and Brice Williams (Blackman). Myles Hamilton (USN) was also noticed for his efforts including a huge shot in the title game.

Isaiah Crawley (Ripley) returned to the Celtics for the Atlanta run and was remarkable including a ridiculous 19 point, 15 rebound game in the semi-finals against Blue Print.

The Celtics will be right back in the Peach State this weekend for the Hoop Seen tournament at the lovely Suwanee Sports Academy.
