Holiday tournament action was prevalent all over the state with various events taking place not only in Tennessee but all over the country and even out of the country in some instances.
Here is how some of the teams from Middle Tennessee faired in those tourneys. We will have West Tennessee holiday tournament results tomorrow.
Franklin Road Academy Christmas Tournament

Rob Marberry (FRA) led a trio of teammates in double digits as FRA dispatched of Sycamore to capture their own FRA Christmas Tourney. Chance Bouldin (FRA) and Kessler Bell (FRA) chipped in with 13 and 12 respectively for FRA. Jacob Dick (Sycamore) led the War Eagles with 16 points.
Trousdale County Christmas Tourney
Maplewood 62
Pickett County 40
Kenny Robertson (Maplewood) and Jason Stone (Maplewood) each scored 14 points as the Panthers strode past Pickett County 62-40 to capture the Trousdale County Christmas Tourney. Brannon Roop (Pickett County) led the Bobcats with 14 points.
Naples Daily News Gulf Shore Shootout
Ensworth 62
Cardinal Gibbons (FL) 60
Ensworth found themselves on the winning end of a 62-60 contest against Cardinal Gibbons and thus captured the Naples Daily News Gulf Shore Shootout in Florida. Rico Watson (Ensworth) led the Tigers balanced attack with 12 points. Corn Elder (Ensworth) and DeAndre Ferby (Ensworth) pitched in with 10 points apiece.
San Destin Hilton Beach Resort Blowout
Cookeville 70
Crestview (FL) 64
Mat Case (Cookeville) brought home MVP honors and dropped 37 points in the title game as Cookeville raced past Crestview of Florida 70-64 to bring home the ‘ship from the San Destin Hilton Beach Resort Blowout. Case was dominant the entire event and was assisted in the scoring column in the title game by Trey Henderson (Cookeville) with 16.
Watertown Christmas Tourney

Warren County 43
Ty Jobe (Watertown) and KeAndre Bates (Watertown) scored 12 and 10 points respectively leading the Purple Tigers past Warren County to bring home the championship at their own event 46-43. Hunter Daniel (Warren County) led all scorers with 15 points in the loss.
Nera White Holiday Classic
Unicoi County 70
Macon County 62
Unicoi County came up from upper East Tennessee to capture one of the oldest and most prestigious holiday events the Nera White Holiday Classic with a 70-62 victory over Macon County. Trey McPherson (Macon County) led the Tigers with 18 points in the loss.
White County Holiday Classic

Lebanon 47
A.J. Wilkerson (White County) exploded for 26 points as the Warriors got the best of Lebanon to capture the White County Holiday Classic 49-47. KeShaun Abston (Lebanon) led the Blue Devils with 17 points in the loss.
Beech Christmas Tourney
East Literature 63
Ravenwood 52
Bobby Scott (East Literature) scored 20, while Tyree Nightingale (East Literature) and Chris Willingham (East Literature) each added 11 lifting the Eagles of East Literature past Ravenwood for the championship of the Beech Christmas Tourney in Hendersonville. Joey Barnes (Ravenwood) led the Raptors with 17. Devin Robinson (Ravenwood) chipped in 14 in the loss.
Father Ryan Christmas Tourney

Belmont signee Caleb Chowbay (Mt. Juliet) dropped 20 as the Golden Bears of Mt. Juliet slid past Clarksville to capture the Father Ryan Christmas Tourney with a 50-45 victory. C.J. McEwen (Mt. Juliet) added 12 points in the victory. Drake Young (Clarksville) and Anthony Hightower (Clarksville) scored 21 and 13 respectively for Clarksville in the loss.
Hickman County Christmas Classic

Jack Montague (Brentwood) garnered MVP honors while scoring 28 points and leading the Bruins of Brentwood to a 64-61 victory over defending Class AA state champion Liberty Tech in the Hickman County Christmas Tourney. Montague played lights out scoring 21 in a victory over previously unbeaten Northeast and added another 21 as the Bruins bested defending Class A state champion Lake County in the opener. Asa Duvall (Brentwood) added 17 in the victory.
Mid-State Holiday Classic @ MTCS
PJPII 65
Ezell-Harding 64
PJPII got a key bucket late from rising junior Josh Phillips (PJPII) and the Knights slipped past Ezell-Harding in overtime 65-64 to win the Mid-State Holiday Classic at MTCS. Paul Kirby (PJPII) led the Knights with 13 points while Jake Tucker (PJPII) added 12 in the victory. Zach Jenkins (Ezell-Harding) took game scoring honors with 19 points. Austin Gee (Ezell-Harding) added 17 in the tough loss.
