Memphis Stallions… July Schedule

One of the key players that coaches from around the country will seek out this July will be a dynamic shooting guard from Memphis, goes by the name of Jones.

Yes, "Mighty" Chris Jones (Melrose) put on a prolific scoring display at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, then led his squad to the state AAU 17U title but we don't think he's done. Not by a long shot.

Jones will be on display again as the Stallions make their way in July. Don't discount the value of having a player that everyone wants to see, because when coaches watch, other players will also catch their eye and this opportunity will be ripe for a handful of Stallions who can show what skills they possess.

Brandon Wright (Hillcrest) is such a young man. Yes, he's udersized, yes he's more of a four, but can he play, also an emphatic yes. The young man with the quick hops and the neverending motor is just what the doctor ordered for alot of schools. His stock could take a major turn for the upside with a good July.

Nick Mason (Southwind) was knocking down the jumper in April and May, so lets assume this continues in July. Talented and athletic the high school teammates will be doing everything they can to fill whatever roles the coaches have for them, we speak of course about Montez Fifer (Southwind) and Walter Davis (Southwind).

The Stallions will also add the talents of big Anderson Cunningham (Cordova).  He will get a chance to show how far his game has come.

July Schedule:

MDA Classic-Jackson (July 10-12)

River City Showdown-Memphis (July 13-15)

AAU 17U Nationals-Orlando (July 27-31)
