Bobby Hussey Nike Memorial Day Classic
Atlanta, GA
With the 17's doing their thing in the sunshine, the 16's and 15's go to where the players play, Atlanta.
Jaylen Allen (Science Hill) gets things rolling for the Tennessee Travelers in Pool C of the 16 and under division. Big men can change the game but guard play is vital in these events and the Travelers have some quality backcourt players including Jack Montague (Brentwood), Braylen "Vitamin B" Bennett (Carter) and Montrae Williams (Spring Hill).
Pool C will also feature the Memphis Bearcats led by a formidable backcourt of Devonte Hampton (Melrose) and Alvertis London (Hamilton). On the wing the Bearcats will look to athletic Willie Atwood (Melrose) and will score on the interior with powerful newcomer Terrence Mujahid (Hamilton).
Cornelius Elder (Ensworth) may only be Class of 2013 but his skill level and leadership ability move him to the head of the pack and his presence will lead Team Nashville in Atlanta. Austin Blackwell (MBA) and Devin Robinson (Ravenwood) give TN one of the best guard trio's in the state at this age group.
In Pool F the Memphis YOMCA led by the next household name in the state, Austin Nichols (Braircrest Christian), will do battle without their wunderkind Johnathan Williams (Southwind), who is nursing an injury. Nourse Fox (ECS), Josh Jones (Memphis Central) and Sam Craft (Craigmont) man the backcourt for the Memphis squad.
Rounding out the 16 and under crew, the Pilot Rhinos will battle in Pool G led by inside terror Brandon Cole (Stone Memorial) and steadily improving Drew Standifer (Bearden). Jamaal Calvin (McCallie) will be counted on for his scoring efforts and Blake Williams (Farragut) will need to knock down some jumpers to keep the opposition honest.
Down in the 15 and under division, the Tennessee Travelers will use their natural depth in the backcourt including Asa Duvall (Brentwood Academy), D.J. Bowles (Notre Dame), Brock Rowan (Stone Memorial) and Will Adams (Science Hill) to wreak some havoc in the ATL.
The Memphis YOMCA and Memphis Tigers round out the Tennessee representation.

Cincinnati, OH
The Knoxville Panthers head north to represent the Volunteer state in the Paramount King's Island Memorial Day Shootout. 32 teams make their way to the Queen City with one goal in mind.
Leading the charge for the Panthers will be Cory Billingsley (Sweetwater). The smooth lefty operator will be looked upon to score and will be complemented in the backcourt by the likes of Morrease Barber (Gatlinburg-Pittman), Nathaniel Hughes (Hampton) and Dylan Ward (Hampton).
The Panthers will welcome the addition of Jose Agosto (Gatlinburg-Pittman). The inside workhorse joins a host of hard working inside threats including Jason Steele (Johnson County) and Skylar Brown (Seymour).
Chase Buckner (Union County) should benefit from the attention given to the insders and have some opportunities to knock down the perimeter jumper.
