This game was our first game of the week but was postponed due to inclimate weather, so the district foes will get another crack at it on Thursday.
The Lions and Panthers battled to a classic 86-81 game just last week with Maplewood getting the win in overtime.
The Panthers currently stand at 13-2 in district 10-AA with the Lions right on their heels at 12-2.
In the previous meeting sophomore Kenny Robertson (Maplewood) went off scoring a career high 31 points in the victory.
Craig "The Professor" Bradshaw (CPA) had 28 in the earlier meeting.
The Panthers will need production from senior guard Jaleel Querry (Maplewood) if they are to grab this district crown for themselves.
CPA is young but very talented and will seek out the scoring of freshman phenom Jalen Lindsey (CPA) to push them over the top and into the district hierarchy.
This will be a battle and I will be sitting front row center to take in the action, can't wait.
