Some high scoring games came our way this past Friday in the Knoxville area.
Cody Malicote (Campbell County) took game high scoring honors with 58 points but Lonnie McClanahan (Oak Ridge) added 51 of his own and helped the Wildcats win the game in double overtime.
Over in Chattanooga a rising freshman D.J. Bowles (Notre Dame) dropped 38 markers on Bledsoe County.
I want to encourage everyone to send me by email andre@tnprephoops.com your information if you scored over 25 points in a particular week. A lot of the information is derived from the major newspapers across the state but some schools fall out of this circulation area and I don't get those scores. If we don't get them the week you scored, we shall put them on next week's list. A host of folks also send them to me via text or phone calls.
We will also start our player of the week and game of the week selections starting next week.
I have also selected Teraes Clemmons (Mt. Juliet) to be the subject of a player diary which will also get started within the next couple of weeks.
