Of all the Tennessee teams at the Real Deal who advanced the furthest.....answer M33M Ballerz.

The Memphis crew advanced to the quarterfinals of the championship bracket in the 17 and under division before falling to the powerful Atlanta Celtics.

Advancing from a tough pool M33M moved forward behind the inside strength of Tyler Stone (Memphis Central), Ronald Brown (Raleigh-Egypt), Sampson Carter (Ridgeway) and Christian Watford (Alabama).

Sterling play from a trio of guards led by Tim Peete (Memphis Central), Mardracus Wade (Mitchell) and Masceo Harmon (Memphis Central).

Peete and Wade both Class of 2010 members continue to shine at this level with skill on and off the ball. Future is very bright for both of these young men.

One of the new kids on the block made their inaugural summer tourney quite an eventful one as the Southeast Impact 15 and under squad advanced to the final four of the consolation bracket at the Real Deal.

Stubbing their proverbial toes during pool play the Impact came on despite losing inside threat Aaron Booker (East Litrerature) to an ankle injury early in the tourney.

Darryl Clack (Maplewood) was forced to provide inside scoring and board work and came up remarkably well in that aspect.

Guard play was the staple for the Impact as fearless 6'2 Justin Perry (Overton) and Bre Hughes (Hillsboro) scored from inside and out the entire weekend. Perry hit clutch threes throughout the tourney and Hughes showed not many players his age can stay in front of his relentless penetration.

Other solid guard contributions came from Cordarius Burns (Mt. Juliet), Robert Duncan (McGavock) and Brandon Crowder (MLK).
