Mardracus Wade (Mitchell) has had quite the summer.

A sterling NBPA Camp showing, Reebok was a success and now he's takin his act to Vegas like another prominent Memphian we once knew.

Drake has been instrumental in leading the M33M Ballerz to a 4-0 start and into the final 32 of the adidas Super 64 tournament.

Bobby Parks Jr. (St. George's) has been solid as well and newly added Travai Pryor (Austin East) has been a pleasant surprise for the Ballerz.

Love the Drake!!!!!!!!!!

The Memphis Magic Elite got off to a rousing start dropping Double Pump Elite 82-74 behind 25 from Joe Jackson (White Station).

A big win over the Nashville Celtics with Tarik Black (Ridgeway) dropping 25 and Jackson finishing with 17, while Chris Crawford (Sheffield) added 18 was followed by what seems to be our state's nemesis the new England Playaz.

These same Playaz bested the Celtics earlier 75-52; however, they came roaring back with a big win over California Pump-n-Run 85-77. Casey Prather (Jackson Northside) led the scoring brigade with 19 followed closely by Austin Hollins (Germantown) with 18 and 11 each from Meiko Lyles (USN) and Levon Tate (Siegel).

In the loss to the Magic, Prather led the way with 18, Lyles added 13 and Ish Sanders (Cleveland) finished with 12.

The Celtics closed things up with a solid 66-62 win over a highly touted New Heights squad. Hollins and Prather both notched 18, while Sanders added 11.
