Lyles Makes Ivy League Decision

New York, New York!!!! Big city of dreams.

Meiko Lyles (USN) ended his recruitment this week pledging his wares for the Lions of Columbia University.

The Ivy League school located in New York will welcome the two-time Mr. Basketball nominee and his sweet shooting stroke.

After leading USN to the state tourney, Lyles got down to business and became the 22nd player in the Class of 2010 to pledge for D1.

His future mentor, Columbia head man Joe Jones, will be pleased with the smooth game of the 6'3 Lyles.

Lyles played his summer hoops with the Nashville Celtics and is the sixth member of the squad to sign a D1 scholarship.

Lyles is the second player from the Volunteer state to take his game into the Ivy League after Dwight Tarwater committed to Cornell early last week.
