He took his message to heart scoring 33 points and leading Team Kimber past Team Johnson 87-74.
Lopez was dynamic finishing everything off the dribble and snatching virtually every offensive rebound that floated off the orange iron.
Shannon Hale (Science Hill) finished with 14 points and Jaylen Allen (Science Hill) added 10 in the win.
Will Winton (Bearden) led Team Johnson with 19 points, joining him in the score book Andy Barnett (Pigeon Forge) added 17 points and Phillip Stanford (Knoxville West) and Spencer Peake (Bearden) finished with 13 and 10 respectively.

Casey Smith (Morristown East) added 13 points while Lucas Branch (Knoxville Catholic) finished with 12 and Aaron Wheeler (Morristown East) contributed 10.
Dre Mathieu (Knoxville Central) led all scorers with 16 points in the close loss. Drew Standifer (Bearden) and Lester Wilson (Carter) both finished with 12 points.
