Once again I have scoured the newspapers, faxes, face books and other forms of media that come to my attention compiling a list of the top scorers in the state for each week of the season.
If you know of some scoring exploits or a scoring milestone such as 1,000 point club or something of that nature please email me at andre@tnprephoops.com and I will get this added to the next week's story.
College coaches have told me this is one of their favorite features as it helps them get an understanding on the pulse of the new season.
Bryce Copeland (Bradley Central) finally shook all the football rust off as the rising senior point guard had a solid week dropping 27 against Cookeville and adding a cool 26 against McMinn County.
Tyler Gadlen (Peabody) has made himself a regular on the scoring list and this week is no different. The senior guard dropped 28 against district rival Humboldt and closed the week strong with 26 against Gibson County.
Chris Cox (Knoxville Catholic) displayed some of the potential that everyone knows he possesses. The senior post scored 28 points against city rival Knoxville Webb.
Dylan Qualls (Cumberland County) made his presence felt in a major way scoring 27 points in two consecutive contests with the first effort against Rhea County followed by effort two against county rival Stone Memorial.
Nych Smith (White Station) rose up huge picking up the scoring slack for the injured Leron Black dropping 32 markers against Arlington.
Mason Ramsey (Livingston Academy) was gigiantic taking home the MVP at the Gatlinburg Holiday Tournament scoring 28 in the title game win over Pulaski County (KY). Ramsey led the "Hog-Eye" throughout the event including 38 large in a semi-final win over Ezell-Harding.
Robert Hubbs (Dyer County) continues to widen the margin on his Dyer County scoring leadership. The Tennessee signee had a wonderful week scoring 32 in a win over Henry County after a 35 point effort against Carothersville (MO).
