Knoxville welcomes the second annual Knox Vegas Heat tourney to the area with another solid line-up of teams representing Tennessee, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Arkansas, and Florida.
The tourney features age groups ranging from 12 and under through 17 and under and will play at various venues in the greater Knoxville area.
In the 17 and under division, Team Nashville begins action on Friday evening led by their triumvirate of hoopers including Andre Brown (Clarksville Northwest), Justin Perry (Overton) and Isiah Harrison (Hillsboro).
Tennessee Team Hustle begins their second year of existence with a much improved 17 and under squad led by local players including Joey Boedwig (Knoxville Catholic), Dion Fair (Bearden) and Will Winton (Bearden).
Rounding out the 17 and under group from the Volunteer state will be the Memphis Hawgs and God's Chosen Few, a new squad from out of Knoxville.
Representing in the 16 and under division are Team Nashville, Tennessee Team Hustle, Nashville Warriors, Knoxville G-Force and the Memphis Hawgs.
Over in the 15 and under division the East Tennessee Pyros lead a group of six squads including God's Chosen Few, Tennessee Tigers, Tennessee Team Hustle, Team Nashville and the Tennessee Wolfpack.
Many of the countries top summer squads will be in attendance including the Wisconsin Playground Warriors, CP3 All-Stars, Carolina Raptors, World Wide Renegades, Smyrna Stars, Queen City Prophets, Team United, Alabama Lasers, Southern Kings and the Columbia Hoyas.
