Seems like we have something to prove here.

Another event featuring schools from Tennessee tangling with our counterparts to the north, Kentucky.

This one will be titled the Kentucky vs. Tennessee High School Basketball Challenge and will take place on December 13th at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green.

The first game scheduled at 5:00 will feature the Pharoahs of Raleigh-Egypt taking on Christian County from Hopkinsville.

Deep and talented the Pharoahs feature a plethora of guards including Gentry Hines, Rashad Harris, Jeremy Whitmore and Jeremy Harris.

Inside they rely on the talents of Ronald Brown, Joe Brady and Reggie Fondren.

Game two which begins at 7:00 will be an interesting contest and will pit two summer teammates against one another. Centennial features Miami of Ohio signee Drew Kelly and some talented insiders like Travis Williams and Luke Jenson.

Kelly will get to battle his Nashville Celtics teammate Jon Hood (Kentucky) who attend Madisonville North Hopkins. Hood, coming off a 30 point effort at the Hoopfest will welcome the challenge of playing against his AAU bretheran.

The final contest of the evening pits the home team Warren Central against CPA of Nashville. The Lions, who were state tourney participants last season, are certainly poised to make a return trip this season, finally have the full complements of their roster.

Leading the way for the senior laden squad is big Zaccheus Mason (CPA), Hunter Miller (CPA) and David Anderson (CPA).

This will be a fun day of hoops in the Bluegrass state and I will make my way down their for this event.

A fun filled week for myself as I attend the Maryville/Bearden contest on Tuesday at Maryville. Then head over to Karns on Thursday where I will do the game on the Wazoo Sports network against powerful Oak Ridge.  www.wazoosports.com

Middle Tennessee bound for the Friday clash between Siegel and Cookeville, then Saturday to Kentucky.  It don't get no better than this.
